Glitter Playground – Remember me this way

Clik Clik is pleased to be working on a joint commission to be showcased at this years Kidderminster Arts Festival (KAF) in August.

Working with Spare Room Arts, Collective Unconscious and Capas Music, the Glitter Playground will be a unique installation promoting memories and nostalgia as well as a fun place to hang out.

Drawing from the familiar aesthetic of 70s glam and disco, we present a glitter playground, a place for children to play in the shimmering colours and light. A place where adults can reflect and consider the relationship between innocence and understanding. Exploring the notion of nostalgia and the manner by which memories of idols tarnish in the light of hindsight. This installation explores the relationship between the past and the present and the manner by which knowledge can change our perceptions of the world. A collaboration between Clik Clik Collective, Spare Room Arts, Collective Unconscious and Capas Music.

We are pleased to have received funding for this project from Kidderminster Creatives and the X-Pressions Fund.
